Who The Program is For
Ready to Start Investing But Don’t Know Where to Begin? Have limited time on your hands?
This 2 Hour Workshop is designed by Financial Literacy Lab for individuals who are ready to start investing but don’t know where to begin and who have limited time. You might have a steady income, some money saved, and a growing curiosity about how to make your money work for you—but the world of investing feels overwhelming or confusing.
If you’ve been meaning to open an investment/retirement account, want to learn how to choose funds confidently, and are ready to take real action, this course is for you. By the end of the program, you’ll have your own investment account open and funded, along with a solid understanding of how to manage your investment portfolio with confidence.
By the end of the 2 Hours, participants will be able to:
Understand the basics of investing.
Open and fund your own investment account (IRA, Brokerage, etc).
Choose appropriate investment funds (ETFs, mutual funds, etc.).
Feel confident and excited to see your money grow!

🗓️ Dates: Thursday September 4th and Thursday September 25h (optional)
🕒 Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Pacific Time)
📍 Location: Live on Zoom (link provided upon registration)
💰 Investment: $200 for the 2 Hour Workshop, Bonus hour included Thursday September 25th from 4-5pm to answer questions — 3 hours of hands-on learning, a life-changing skill that could grow your wealth for decades, and community connection. Can be broken into 2 payments.
