Meet Jackie
Compassionate, Authentic, Supportive

Hello! I’m Jackie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (which is just a fancy way of saying therapist). I’ve been serving teens and adults as a mental health therapist for the past ten years in (and around) Portland, Oregon.

My passion has always been in helping people through their life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma and other life challenges.  I am excited to share that I am EMDR trained  and hold a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate and hope to incorporate those tools into therapy!

Making the decision to start therapy isn't always easy, particularly when you feel exhausted, overwhelmed and even hopeless. But, I assure you I will do my best to meet you with compassion and provide a safe space for you to talk openly and feel understood.

I invite you to contact me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to ask any questions you have and to discuss your therapy goals. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

What is therapy?

Therapy offers the opportunity for exploration of yourself, others, and the world. It provides a space to talk openly without judgement and to expand your perspective.  Most importantly, therapy provides a space to heal from pain, find moments of peace and to all around feel (emotionally and physically) better.

I use a relational approach to build relationships because this is where change starts; in our moments of feeling safe and connected we are allowed the opportunity to examine the emotional wounds and painful memories that have been so difficult to resolve.  Our therapeutic relationship will be built with authenticity, compassion, active listening and even humor.
