Stress & Life Transitions Therapy Just For You

ONLINE THERAPY FOR STRESS & LIFE TRANSITIONS IN OREGON

Adulthood isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience. Therapy shouldn’t be either. For those who are just arriving into this endless sea of transitions, I want to welcome you authentically into this space as you navigate the uncertainty of what comes next. I offer therapy designed for adults between 18-28 living anywhere in Oregon who are seeking support with this whole “adulting” thing.

and in-betweens

You’ve come into independence through unprecedented uncertainty in the world and you are definitely feeling it. Over the last couple of years, it’s been a wild ride where no one knows what’s going on or what might happen next. For some, it may feel like things are going back to normal, but for others, you’re very much still in the thick of the shitshow that is our “new normal”—whatever the heck that means.

When you are already at a crossroads for change, any bump can feel like a mountain you’re struggling to conquer. I’ve been there. From overcoming difficult personal obstacles in high school to moving to a new country as an adult and living this crazy life alongside you, I haven’t forgotten how isolating it can be to navigate these changes- big or small. If you’re facing increased stress or a life transition of your own, I want to join you in your journey so you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Support for Stress

and life transitions

The things you’re going through may sound familiar to the people around you who are looking at the trajectory of your life and think they know where you’re headed. But this is your story, and these are your experiences. You should feel empowered to experience them your way while getting the support you need now. In therapy that’s tailored to this stage of your life, you can find help with many things.

Stress management

that works for you

How stress manifests itself in your daily life and mental health will be as unique as you are. Whether you’re looking for stress management skills that help you cope with your commute or trying to refresh your work from home routine with more mindfulness, your therapy should meet you where you are.

During your therapy sessions, we can work together to figure out what’s contributing to your stress and find the right tools for you to make positive changes in your life.

Here are some common reasons I see adults in therapy:

  • Feeling overwhelmed or stressed on a regular basis

  • Looking for a better work-life balance

  • Navigating relationships in life (social, romantic and workplace)

  • Sexuality and gender identity

  • High conflict living situations or family relationships

  • Financial stress or uncertainty

  • Communication health

  • Emotional regulation and management

Therapy for life transitions

There’s a lot of change in adulthood and no one really talks about it, do they? Maybe you find yourself wondering about things you feel like you should have the answers to or struggling with something “normal” more than you think you should.

Recognizing the magnitude of life transitions in adulthood is difficult and, in these changeable times, you are worthy of taking the time you need to sort it all out. Whether that means having space to vent without judgment or getting guidance for your next steps, I can help you get where you want to be.

Ask Me

Anything

You’ve got questions and I want to make sure you’ve got the space to ask them! Here are just a few of the questions I get the most

  • Absolutely not. The spaces and feelings we visit during your therapy sessions are protected by my legal and ethical duties and will never be shared.

  • You can prepare by ensuring you have a private space, good internet access and simply showing up to utilize this time to discuss whatever is on your mind. You may find benefit in jotting down some notes throughout the week or before our session of things that would be helpful to discuss. The more you put into therapy, the more you will benefit

  • I can’t answer that precisely, but I can tell you that you’re guaranteed the chance to take up the space you need. I hope you’ll gain an opportunity to explore whatever you need during our time together and take steps closer to finding it.

  • You do not now, or ever, owe anyone else the answers to what you want from life.

I will never ask you for answers you don’t have, and therapy doesn’t expect you to show up with them either.
