Who The Program is For
This 4-week course is designed by Financial Literacy Lab for individuals who are ready to start investing but don’t know where to begin. You might have a steady income, some money saved, and a growing curiosity about how to make your money work for you—but the world of investing feels overwhelming or confusing.
If you’ve been meaning to open an investment/retirement account, want to learn how to choose funds confidently, and are ready to take real action, this course is for you. By the end of the program, you’ll have your own investment account open and funded, along with a solid understanding of how to manage your investment portfolio with confidence.
By the end of the 4 weeks, participants will be able to:
Understand the basics of investing.
Open and fund your own investment account (IRA, Brokerage, etc).
Choose appropriate investment funds (ETFs, mutual funds, etc.).
Feel confident and excited to see your money grow!
Program Details
Start Date: Coming August, 2025! 4 weeks, 90 minute sessions.
Location: Live on Zoom
Investment: $250 for 6 hours of hands on learning, a life changing skill you will use for the rest of your life and community connection.
